Wake up and paint with coffee: Artist creates portraits using nothing but stains on the bottom of a mug
-->
'I diluted the coffee for the lighter shades and used very little water for the darker tones.
'It was a tricky medium to use at first, and it took me a few tries to get it right as too much water and the rings do not form easily; they tend to bleed into each other and results in just a pool of coffee.
'I then had to wait for the painting to dry up to do the darker areas.
'Most people were surprised and intrigued by why I used such a medium and some people even told me to 'go buy some paintbrushes instead,' but I really want to challenge art as it is done conventionally.
Hong Yi said she started drawing two years ago during a university break when she did a sketch of singer Justin Beiber.
'I didn't have any paint or paint brushes with me, so I opened the fridge and got a bottle of Korean chilli paste instead, and drew on a plate. That was when my interest in working with unusual media started.
'I believe we need to break routines sometimes and bend rules a bit, do we really have to stick to painting on cartridge paper? What if I feel like painting on my plate, table, shoe?
'It is my hope that my work has sparked an interest in art, especially for people who usually don't pay any attention to it, and I really hope that it inspires people to try new things, to question and to test their boundaries.'
An artist has created an uncanny portrait 'painting' using nothing but coffee and a mug.
Hong Yi used Nescafe coffee stains from the bottom of a cup to depict Taiwanese song-writer Jay Chou on a 3ft by 5.5ft canvas, after becoming 'inspired' by one of his songs.
She has experimented with a variety of different media to create artwork in the past, which include sunflower seeds, chilli paste, and basketballs.
Despite using such unconventional methods, Hong Yi, 25, from Malaysia, has honed in her art skills to produce portraits almost exactly alike to the original photographs.
She has spent the last year dabbling in art after completing an architecture degree and is now working for an architecture firm in Shanghai, where she creates different projects in her spare time.
'This project was inspired by the opening and closing lines of one of my favourite songs by Jay Chou called Secret,' she said.
'The opening line is about a coffee cup being lifted off the saucer, which is why I've used coffee cup stains as my medium in this project. The ending of the song is about autumn leaves and fragmented pieces, which is shown through the portrait as a whole how it’s formed by many individual rings, many of them broken and imperfect like fallen autumn leaves.
'It was a tricky medium to use at first, and it took me a few tries to get it right as too much water and the rings do not form easily; they tend to bleed into each other and results in just a pool of coffee.

can you guess this woman`s Age?
Jenelle Evans is back at home after just four days in rehab, but the reality TV star claims that she was getting treated for the wrong thing -- blogging that she's addicted to relationships, not drugs.
Mother to 3-year-old son Jace, the Teen Mom 2 star previously signed off from Twitter on March 2, hinting that she was going to rehab "for you Jace, no one else."
Just four days later, however, the troubled reality star reportedly left the North Carolina rehab facility where she had been set to "address any addiction issues for drug use," her attorney, Dustin R.T. Sullivan, said in a statement.
Now, however, 21-year-old Evans says she ditched out early on her 30 days of rehab because she wasn't getting the help that she needed.
"I simply feel as if I didn't need to go to treatment if my problem isn't drugs anymore, and never will be again," she wrote Friday, March 15, on her Sulia page. "I need individual counseling and therapy if anything for being addicted to relationships. I can honestly admit this about myself and can't seem to help it unless I continue to get the help I need through therapy."
Last Sunday, March 10, Evans posted a photo of herself with little Jace in the backseat, along with the caption: "Just where I wanted to be. Morning sunshine." (Jace's dad is Evans' ex, Andrew Lewis.)
She added that she had originally sought treatment at a facility in Florida, but transferred to North Carolina after the original program turned out to be a "nightmare."
In her blog post, Evans also clarified that she is not currently seeing anyone, despite rumors that she and estranged husband Courtland Rogers have reconciled.
"Maybe instead of voicing what REALLY happened I'll just stay silent because silence is golden," she wrote. "But I will let everyone know that I AM SINGLE and I AM NOT DATING ANYONE. I'm focusing on myself and my son's life, nobody else's."
Earlier this year, Evans filed five assault charges against Rogers, 27. Both Evans and Rogers also accused each other of infidelity -- including his claim that Evans had reconnected with ex-boyfriend Gary Head behind his back.
Evans and Rogers tied the knot in December 2012 after just a few months of dating, but called it off after Evans accused Rogers of cheating on her.

And Here’s the Most Expensive Photograph in the World
This landscape shot of the Rhine River just fetched $4.3 million at auction.
Is this photo of the Rhine River on a cloudy day worth more than $4.3 million? One well-to-do collector seems to think so.
The image, which captures the silvery river, planked on either side by lush green grass under an overcast sky, became the world’s priciest picture on Tuesday when it was auctioned at Christie’s for a price of $4,338,500.
“Rhein II” was created in 1999 by famed German artist Andreas Gursky, who’s known for his large, colorful and richly detailed photographs. The 81- x 140-inch print greatly exceeded Christie’s expectations — the picture was only estimated to sell for between $2.5 and $3.5 million (mere pennies, people). It also broke the previous record set by Cindy Sherman’s “Untitled #9,” which sold for $3.89 million in May.
While NewsFeed was initially aghast that such a dreary photo could sell for an exorbitant price — seriously, the sky isn’t even a nice, cheery shade of blue! — after much discussion and at least five minutes staring into that metallic river, we’re beginning to understand it a little more.
If you can get past the picture’s outrageous price-tag to actually experience it, you might see that it’s pretty brilliant after all. Although, we must admit that we prefer this version much more.

Court Finds Model Innocent Based on Breast Size
Serena Kozakura, a Japanese pin-up model, has probably had her way numerous times based on the size of her breasts, but this has to be the first time they have ever helped her overturn a court ruling.
Serena, 38 years old, was charged and found guilty of breaking into a man’s apartment by kicking in a hole in his door and crawling through because he was with another woman.
The bikini model was cleared of all charges after the defense council help up a plate showing the size of the hole that Serena was accused of kicking in. It was clear that the hole in the door was not large enough for the 44-inch bust model to squeeze through.
“I used to hate my body so much, but it was my breasts that won in court”, Serena said.
Judge Kunio Harad of the Tokyo High Court threw out the guilty verdict, saying there was reasonable doubt over the man’s story.

"My breasts saved my life": How giant 38KKKs served as airbags in crash for Houston woman
To achieve her record-holding breast size, Hershey has undergone multiple surgeries — mostly in Brazil, since United States law forbids such reckless enhancement.
A life-threatening staph infection in July 2010 forced Hershey to remove the implants from her MMM-cup mammaries. But one year and several purported suicide attempts later, Hershey had her implants re-inflated in November to a respectable size 38KKK.
And just in time: On Super Bowl Sunday, Hershey drove her Ford Mustang into several trees. Her airbags didn't inflate, but her boobs did the trick.
Hershey was taken to the Montgomery County jail and charged with a DWI, though Hershey denies allegations that she was under the influence of alcohol.
In an exclusive interview with Fox 26, Hershey admits that prescription drugs, taken for bi-polar disorder and depression, rendered her unable to properly drive her vehicle.
Breasts aside, Hershey could face 180 days in jail for the offense.
