Brandi Glanville Confronts Ex-Husband Eddie Cibrian's Mistress Scheana Marie: "I Had So Much Anxiety" About Meeting Her

Four years ago, Brandi Glanville's marriage to Eddie Cibrian was ruined by the revelation that the actor had been cheating on her with his Northern Lights co-star LeAnn Rimes. But Rimes wasn't Cibrian's only mistress. In late 2009, waitress Scheana Marie came forward claiming that she too had been in a relationship with Glanville's husband.

Marie, 27, had been trying to wrangle a sit-down with her ex-lover's ex-wife ever since -- and on the Jan. 7 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she finally got her wish.

"I just have so much I need to get off my chest with you," she told Glanville tearfully when the two met up at Lisa Vanderpump's SUR Lounge, where Marie works. "I'm shaking right now."

"Don't cry, really," Glanville replied. "I lost my family. I lost everything that I had. So if anyone's going to cry here, it's not going to be you."

"Look at where you are in your life," she later challenged Marie. "I'm in such a better place. I win. You know what I mean?"

Glanville, 40, certainly sounded sure of herself as she took her ex's mistress to task for the affair, but in an interview with Us Weekly's Rebecca Bienstock, she admitted that she almost didn't go through with the meeting.

"I had so much anxiety leading up to it," she explained, adding that she changed her mind several times about whether she should actually show up.

The apprehension was mutual. "I think she was really nervous to talk to me," Glanville said of Marie. "[But] I don't feel sorry for her. I didn't. I was kind of indignant, a little bit. I didn't understand why she was crying. I do feel like she's remorseful...But it is what it is."

The mom-of-two -- to Mason, 9, and Jake, 6, her sons with her ex-husband -- added that she's happy their confrontation is over. And though she and Marie will never be best friends, they can at least be cordial if they run into each other at SUR.

"I'm glad we talked. And when I see her now, I say hello and it's really not a big deal," Glanville told Us.

In fact, the Real Housewives star says Marie actually set her free in a way. "She kind of did me a big favor showing me that it wasn't a one-time thing with LeAnn. Basically, [Eddie] had been sleeping with every waitress in town. So it was a wakeup call that I desperately needed in order to push me out the door," Glanville said.

"I didn't know the extent of his infidelity...Had she not come forward, I might still be in that situation," she added. "Meanwhile, the whole time he was still seeing LeAnn and I didn't know it. So...I think everything happens for a reason."
