Angelina Jolie's Aunt Dies of Breast Cancer

Just two weeks after Angelina Jolie revealed she had a preventative double mastectomy to lower her risk of breast cancer, the actress' aunt has passed away after battling the disease.

Jolie's uncle, Ron Martin, confirmed to E! News that his wife, Debbie Martin, died Sunday, May 26. "Angelina has been in touch throughout the week and her brother Jamie has been with us, giving his support day by day," he said.

Debbie was the younger sister of Marcheline Bertrand, Jolie's late mother. Bertrand died in 2007 at the age of 56 after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

Earlier this month, Jolie, 37, revealed she recently had a preventative double mastectomy after learning she carries the BRCA1 breast cancer gene. Brad Pitt's fiancee and mother of six decided to undergo the surgery to minimize her risk. "I can tell my children that they don't need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer," she said in her essay for the New York Times.

Jolie's uncle fully supports her decision.
"We have seen Angelina a number of times since Debbie was diagnosed with breast cancer and Debbie and I were both very proud of her recent decision to have the double mastectomy," he told E! News, "and to do everything she can to keep her family from having to go through what we've been through."

Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough Split: "It Just Got to Be Too Much"

Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough have decided to pull the plug on their relationship after more than two years of dating, sources confirm to Us .

And the notoriously busy Hollywood pair, who began dating in 2010, may have their packed schedules to blame.

"Honestly, their schedules were too hectic," a source tells Us. "It just got to be too much. I think they both just sort of knew they couldn't do it anymore. The travel and lifestyle got to be too much. Who knows if this is just for now, but I think this is for good."

In addition to hosting American Idol, Seacrest, 38, is also a radio host for his own show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, as well as a red carpet host.

His 24-year-old love is similarly busy, promoting her latest flick Safe Haven, opposite Josh Duhamel, out in theaters just last month. She and brother Derek Hough, 27, are also currently collaborating on a Starz scripted drama about ballroom dance, titled Blackpool.

Last month, the former Dancing With the Stars pro dancer revealed that her Valentine's Day plans with Seacrest were going to be last-minute.

"I know there are plans, but I don't know what they are yet," she told Us in February. "I think I might be traveling. I'm not sure where. That's up to my boyfriend!"

Gerard Butler Admits He Slept With Brandi Glanville, But Forgot Her Name

Brandi Glanville didn't just dream that she hooked up with Gerard Butler -- the actor has finally verified their tryst. On The Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM Radio Monday, March 11, Butler admitted he did sleep with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, but forgot her name.

"It was a one-afternooner, but it was fun," the Olympus Has Fallen actor, 43, told Howard Stern. "She is wild."

But Glanville, 40, made it sound like it was a little longer than that when she went public that they slept together during a Jan. 24 episode of Watch What Happens Live. Glanville said they "had a little week of fun" and gave him an "11" out of ten when rating him as a lover.

Butler was informed about Glanville's comments when a paparazzo confronted him as he was walking down a street and reportedly said, "Brandi Glanville says you're great in bed."

"And you know what I said: 'Who's Brandi Glanville?'" Butler recalled to Stern. "Because one, I didn't know her last name and two, I didn't know she was a celebrity and I didn't know she was going to f--king tell people about it!"

How did he not learn her name? "Here's the thing. You're at a beach party, you're having fun and this girl comes along," he says in his defense. "'So, what do you do?' She says, 'Doesn't matter.' We hung out. We had a little bit of fun."

Once Butler figured out who she was, he called Glanville up. "I said one, 'I'm not very happy you did that because there are certain things you keep a little private.' And two, 'I'm sorry I said I didn't know who you were!'"

Butler is now, however, happily off the market. At the after party of the NYC premiere Monday of his new film, Olympus Has Fallen, the actor told Us why he loves girlfriend Madalina Ghenea, a model/actress he's been dating for 10 months.

"What I love about her is she digs me. Not many people when they get to know me put up with me and she does," he confessed. "She's incredibly beautiful, sexy, she's very compassionate, super smart and truly, she does get me. That's nice. It's nice when somebody pins you and they know everything about you and they see it in a positive way. A lot of stuff that I don't see in a positive way, after she's pined me I say, maybe I'm all right. Maybe I'm not the biggest dickhead on the planet!"

Taylor Swift, Harry Styles Breakup: New Details Explained in Vanity Fair

Did Harry Styles have a wandering eye? In the April issue of Vanity Fair, Taylor Swift opens up her most recent breakup with the One Direction boy bander. The 23-year-old country singer and 19-year-old British heartthrob split in early January after a few months of dating.

In the magazine, Swift says she not the "clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend" that she's made out to be. In fact, the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" singer claims Styles pursued her.

Swift, who only discusses her romances through song, authorized a source to speak on her behalf to Vanity Fair. According to the insider, Styles "wore her down" to get her to finally agree to be his girlfriend. "He was all, like, 'You're amazing -- I want to be with you. I want to do this.'"

The relationship got rocky when Swift saw a picture of Styles "making out" with a friend. She broke things off, but Styles eventually convinced her to take him back. "But the whole time she says she feels like he's looking at every girl," the source says. When they were in London together, the boy band member "disappeared " one evening and "after that it was like he just didn't want to keep going." Styles' rep, however, says the claims are "undeniably false."

Though their relationship didn't exactly end on the best terms, Styles had only nice things to say about his exes' performance at the Brit Awards on Feb. 20. Calling the act "great," Styles told Us Weekly, "She always puts on a good show."

Swift, however, was recently photographed filming a music video her song "22" and appeared to be imitating Styles by dressing like him. The first lyrics of the song, are, in fact, "It feels like a perfect night to dress up like hipsters and make fun of our exes."

Silver Linings Playbook producer Bruce Cohen explains to Us : "With all her appearances, she hasn't gotten enough bed rest, but I think her plan is to be at the SAGs tomorrow," Cohen said. He cautioned: "I haven't spoken to her recently."

The Bachelor Episode 3 Recap: Lesley M. Breaks World Record For Longest On-Screen Kiss While Tierra Nearly Breaks Her Neck

Houston native Robyn said it best -- and most bluntly -- at the beginning of this week's drama-filled episode of The Bachelor when she joked that she couldn't wait for "the note that reads 'Robyn, let's ditch these b-tches and fall in love for real.'"

Because judging by the increasingly aggressive behavior of the remaining 16 ladies on this season, she's not the only one who feels that way.

It's only three weeks into this drama-filled, tear-ridden "journey," and poor Shirtless Sean is already feeling the pressures of "diggin' a lot of women" at once. The earnest entrepreneur -- who kicks off the episode with a few sweaty bicep curls and some gratuitous treadmill jogging for the cameras -- will tackle three dates this week: two one-on-one dates and a group date.

First up is political consultant Lesley M., whose sexy cowboy getup and subtle smooching from last week clearly left Sean wanting more. So much more, in fact, that the 29-year-old bachelor manages to finagle some more lip-locking time with her -- 3 minutes and 16 seconds of it, to be exact.

But before the pair can get do the (kissing) deed, Sean first takes Lesley to the dismal-looking Guinness World Records museum on Hollywood Boulevard, where she pretends to ooh and ahh at displays like the "world's smallest woman" and "dude eating a bike wheel."

Not exactly the most romantic of locales, but Lesley seems game enough, and actually genuinely impressed when Sean points out a photo of his dad setting the world record for shortest amount of time spent driving continuously through 48 states (97 hours and 47 minutes, for those keeping track at home).

But tour time comes to a close when Chris Harrison gleefully emerges and announces the real point of the date: the two lovers will lock lips for 3 minutes and 16 seconds to break the world record for world’s longest on-screen kiss.

And with the timer ticking away painfully slowly on the screen and a crowd of gawkers crowding around on Hollywood Boulevard, they kiss … and kiss … and giggle … and kiss some more until they finally best the record and confetti explodes around them. Romance, indeed!

That night, the pair sit down to chat about their lives and families -- an easier feat now that their faces aren’t glued to one another anymore.

"You just make me nervous," she tells the red-faced bachelor, filling in awkward pauses with random banter. Finally, though, girl finally takes the hint, goes silent and leans in for the kiss. And, naturally, gets the rose.

Meanwhile, back at the Bachelor mansion, the remaining 15 girls are anxiously awaiting their date cards. Ding dong! AshLee dashes to grab the card and read off the names for the group date: Kacie, Robyn, Leslie H., Kristy, Catherine, Desiree, Taryn, Amanda, Lindsay, Daniella, Jackie and Tierra are summoned.

The next day, the 12 gals pile into cars to head to the beach, where they strip down to their bikinis and toss a football around self-consciously until Chris Harrison once again makes his big bad appearance (sans champagne flute) and lays out the day's challenge. The girls will be split into two teams, he says, and will play a round of beach volleyball to vie for Sean's time -- and ultimately, his heart.

"I'm so bad at volleyball!" Daniella whines as the teams are created. She, Taryn, Leslie, Catherine, Kristy and Tierra form the red team, while Lindsay, Jackie, Robyn, Amanda, Kacie and Desiree comprise the blue team.

What follows is a whole lot of girls and abs and sand and surf and bikinis -- and Shirtless Sean standing by helplessly feeling nervous for the losing team but secretly enjoying the role reversal of the ladies vying for his attention.

After what looks to be several hours of emotional, angry volleyball-playing, the blue team wins, and the red team is forced to hang their collective heads and tromp home to the mansion. There may have even be a few tears and a fair amount of pouting. The ladies on the winning team, however, are ecstatic to spend more time with Sean and each snatches him away to say her piece with the bachelor later that evening.

But it's returning contestant Kacie B. who makes the strongest impression on Sean that night -- and not necessarily in a good way. After the tension between Desiree and Amanda starts to heat up, Kacie decides to use their friction to her advantage -- by tattling to Sean. The only problem is, however, that Sean seems to be more turned off by her chatter than he is sympathetic.

"Why are you involving yourself in that?" he asks incredulously as Kacie tries to tell him how the girls' conflict is making her "not herself." "I want you to act like Kacie, not like this crazy person I'm seeing."

No rose for Kacie, then. Substitute teacher Lindsay instead gets the flower for the night.

Unfortunately for Sean, however, the drama is far from over. The following day, Shirtless Sean arrives (covered, in a pink shirt this time) at the mansion to pick up AshLee for their one-on-one date and instead finds Tierra sprawled on the stairs. Having had "several concussions" himself before, he does what any self-respecting gentleman would do and calls the ambulance -- only problem being that Tierra, hungry for attention but dubiously hurt, refuses to be taken to the hospital.

In the end, the "accident" draws nothing but angry murmurs among the girls and a delayed first date for poor AshLee, who waits patiently inside the house as Tierra snags some more alone time with Sean. Eventually, though AshLee and Sean get on their way, driving out to Six Flags Magic Mountain, where the entire theme park has been shut down for the two of them -- and two very special young guests.

Sean introduces AshLee to Emily and Brianna, two best friends who suffer from mitochondrial diseases, and who are meeting for the first time through the Starlight Children's Foundation. The foursome spend the day together riding roller coasters and dressing up for a western-inspired photo shoot (Sean clearly had a hand in the plans for this date), and AshLee is won over by Sean's "caring heart."

The pair dance to Sean's favorite band, the Eli Young Band, and seal the night on a more serious note, talking about AshLee's difficult childhood. Even big bad Sean gets teary-eyed at her heartfelt story.

"It felt good to tell somebody I'm falling in love with all my insecurities," the personal organizer says during her confessional. "I never thought I'd believe in this." Sean's making believers out of non-believers! He's just that good.

At the cocktail party the next night, the mood is a little different, a bit tenser. Aside from Sarah, who gets a surprise chance to catch up with her French bulldog Leo, the other women take to lurking around Sean and stealing him away for conversations throughout the evening like a maddening game of reverse hot potato.

Kacie in particular tries to get a little bit of time with the bachelor to apologize for her gossipy behavior and to right their relationship once more, but even she and her spray-tanned legs can't keep Sean away from the other women, resulting in one of the more awkward/human moments in Bachelor history, depending upon how you look at it.

At the rose ceremony, Sean looks a bit preoccupied before he asks to speak to Kacie alone. Ultimately, he tells her, he respects her too much to put her through an entire rose ceremony. And so, with a hug and a gentle push, he sends her home before returning to the rose ceremony.

Tierra, Leslie H., Catherine, Daniella, Robyn, Selma, Sarah, Jackie, Amanda and Desiree get roses, while model Kristy and fitness coordinator Taryn get the boot. Both Leslie M. and AshLee are safe through next week as well. The more of the story? Don't tattle on the other women.

"I really wanted this to work," Kacie tells the cameras as her car peels away from the mansion. "Last time I left here with no regrets. This time, there are regrets that I have and that's something I'll have to live with."

"I have a great life," she continues tearfully. "And hopefully I can find somebody who can join me in that. It's just not Sean right now."

Daniel Radcliffe Flirts With Costar Erin Darke at Sundance Film Festival

Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe has cast a spell on actress Erin Darke, his costar in the upcoming film Kill Your Darlings. The two were seen packing on the PDA at Grey Goose Blue Door in Park City, Utah, on Friday, Jan. 18, sources confirm to Us.

"They were affectionate most of the night," says a source, who notes that Darke "was touching his knee" at their VIP table. "They were a little more obvious outside the venue after they were leaving."

The stars have yet to comment on the nature of their relationship, though a second insider says "they've been seeing each other" quietly in New York, where they both live. (Radcliffe's ex-girlfriends include production assistant Rosie Coker and actress Laura O'Toole.)

When Us caught up with Radcliffe, 23, at the Kill Your Darlings premiere Jan. 19, the English actor was strictly business. The film centers around a 1944 murder that brings together the Beat Generation's greatest poets: Allen Ginsberg (Radcliffe), Jack Kerouac (Jack Huston) and William Burroughs (Ben Foster). "It's an incredible story," Radcliffe said. "It's a pleasure to finally be able to tell it."

The role required Radcliffe to film his first gay sex scene -- a big departure for the man who played the world's most famous child wizard. Even so, Radcliffe still remains close with his Harry Potter costars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

"I think we're all kind of looking out for each other, and kind of eagerly waiting for each other's films to come out. We're definitely looking out for each other with a very positive eye," Radcliffe told Us. "I think so far we're all doing really well."

Lena Dunham Calls Into Howard Stern's Radio Show: "I'm Not That Fat, Howard"

Typically brash Howard Stern surprised both fans and critics alike by issuing a public apology to Lena Dunham on his radio show Monday, Jan. 14, so the Girls creator did what any gracious Hollywood starlet would do: She called in.

The 26-year-old director/actress/writer dropped a line during Stern's SiriusXM Radio show Wednesday, Jan. 16, to reassure Stern that his comments were water under the bridge -- and call him out on one comment in particular.

"I don't even know where to begin with all of this," an apologetic Stern began. "The reason I felt so awful was because when Perez Hilton wrote his article, he told half the story. ...I started to compare you to Woody Allen ... the whole thing came together for me.”

The shock jock, 59, continued with a declaration: "I guess I just wanted to tell you I love you and I think you're terrific."

On Monday, Jan. 7, Stern caused an angry buzz online after he slammed both Dunham and her hit HBO show Girls.

"It's a little fat girl who kinda looks like Jonah Hill and she keeps taking her clothes off and it kind of feels like rape. She seems -- it's like -- I don't want to see that," he scoffed at the time.

Dunham admitted Wednesday that she first learned of his cruel comments after castmate Jemima Kirke, who is a huge fan of Stern's show, tipped her off that the radio host was comparing her to the Superbad actor.

"I thought that was a good line, actually," Stern chuckled, trying to make light of the situation.

Dunham responded gamely, but made sure to still get her point across.

"I'm not that fat, Howard," she said. "I don't mean to take major issue with you about this. I'm not super thin, but I'm thin for, like, Detroit."

Stern agreed, explaining that he just meant that she often played up the "fat angle" on the show.

"You're not obese or anything," he allowed.

"Thank you. Another thing for my gravestone," Dunham laughed, referring to comments she made on the Late Show last Thursday, Jan. 10. "Howard Stern says, 'You're not obese or anything.'"

Jennifer Lawrence and Sam Claflin Prepare for Battle in New Hunger Games: Catching Fire Pictures

Happy Hunger Games! The highly-anticipated Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire, is still a little less than a year away from hitting theaters, but the first batch of movie stills have already been released.

One new photo introduces Sam Claflin's character, Finnick Odair, a former Hunger Games champion from District 4, who flirts with Jennifer Lawrence's character Katniss Everdeen. In the two other shots, Josh Hutcherson reprises his role as Peeta Mellark and Liam Hemsworth returns as Gale Hawthorne.

Entertainment Weekly recently caught up with the cast during their final days of production in Waikiki, Hawaii. Clafin, 26, has the pressure of being the newcomer and admitted he's been feeling the heat. The scene where Finnick has to tease Katniss while only wearing a piece of netting was "the scariest moment of my life," Claflin said. "I'm on Twitter and so many people have been like 'Don't mess this up, or we will kill you.'"

But the cast managed to enjoy a few laughs and Lawrence, 22, even hosted a wild party for the cast and crew. "When Sam walked in I was chasing Woody [Harrelson] and we'd flipped over my couch and Woody had a sock all the way down my throat . . ." she said of the night.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, directed by Francis Lawrence, is set to hit theaters Nov. 21, 2013.

Megan Fox: Brian Austin Green Picked My "Tight" Golden Globes Dress

Megan Fox has been communicating with a higher power. Wearing a bra and underwear on the cover of Esquire's February issue, the 26-year-old actress opens up about her surprising religious views.

Megan Fox

Fox tells the magazine she began speaking in tongues around the age of 8, when she attended a Pentecostal church in Tennessee. "The energy is so intense in the room that you feel like anything can happen," Brian Austin Green's wife recalls. "They're going to hate that I compare it to this, but have you ever watched footage of a Santeria gathering or someone doing voodoo? You know how palpable the energy is? Whatever's going on there, it's for real."

The Friends With Kids actress -- who welcomed son Noah on Sept. 27, 2012 -- says she has seen "magical, crazy things" happen in church. "I've seen people be healed. Even now, in the church I go to, during Praise and Worship I could feel that I was maybe getting ready to speak in tongues, and I'd have to shut it off because I don't know what that church would do if I started screaming out in tongues in the back."

"It feels like a lot of energy coming through the top of your head -- I'm going to sound like such a lunatic -- and then your whole body is filled with this electric current. And you just start speaking, but you're not thinking because you have no idea what you're saying. Words are coming out of your mouth, and you can't control it," Fox explains. "The idea is that it's a language that only God understands. It's the language that's spoken in heaven. It's called 'getting the Holy Ghost.'"

Unlike her Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen costar Lindsay Lohan, Fox says she "can't stand pills" and doesn't "like drinking."

"I have to feel like I'm in control of my body. And I know what you're thinking: Then why would I want to go to church and speak in tongues?" she laughs. "You have to understand, there I feel safe. I was raised to believe that you're safe in God's hands. But I don't feel safe with myself."

Fox -- who also admits to believing in leprechauns and the Loch Ness monster -- tells Esquire she is "childlike in my spirit, and I want to believe in fairy tales."

"I believe in all of this stuff," the star of This Is 40 says. "I believe in all of it."

Golden Globes: In quotes

The Golden Globes ceremony is often seen as a less formal, more relaxed cousin to the Oscars - as evidenced in the night's speeches.
Here are some of the highlights from the stage at the 2013 ceremony, including Jodie Foster's enigmatic acceptance of the lifetime achievement award.

AMY POEHLER and TINA FEY - opening monologue

Fey (l) was Globe nominated for her role in 30 Rock while Poehler was nominated for Parks and Recreation
Fey: "Tonight we honour the television shows that have entertained us all year, as well as the films that have only been in theatres for two days."
Poehler: "That's what makes tonight so special. Only at the Golden Globes, do the beautiful people of film rub shoulders with the rat-faced people of television."
Poehler: "It was a great year for women in film. Kathryn Bigelow [is] nominated tonight. I haven't really been following the controversy over Zero Dark Thirty, but when it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron."
Fey: "The Hunger Games was one of the biggest films of the year and also what I call the six weeks it took me to get into this dress."
Poehler: "Ang Lee's been nominated for Life of Pi which is what I'm going to call the six weeks after I take this dress off."

ADELE - receiving the best song award

Adle
Adele is also nominated for an Oscar for the title track from the latest Bond adventure
"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh My God!
"Honestly, I have come out for a night out with my friend Ida - we're new mums - we've literally come for a night out. Thank you so much. Oh God!
"It's very strange to be here. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your world for a night. We've been pissing ourselves laughing at all of it.
"I'd like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press, I never thought I'd say that. Sony pictures; MGM; Sam Mendes; Paul Epworth, who I did the song with; Daniel Craig for being such a wonderful Bond.
"And this is for my boyfriend, Simon, who convinced me to do it, and my lovely son."

BEN AFFLECK - receiving the best director award

Ben Affleck
Affleck has also been nominated for a Bafta for his award-winning movie
Affleck received his prize from Halle Berry who, moments before, had announced the names of the five nominees, including Kathryn Bigelow, Ang Lee, Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino.
"Look, I don't care what the award is. When they put your name next to the names that she just read out, it's an extraordinary thing in your life.
"These nominees are exceptional talents. I truly to God never thought I would be in the same breath as them.
"I gotta thank my agent Patrick Whitesell who was with me when I was like a nobody, then when I was somebody, then when I was in a little bit of trouble. He stuck with me then, too, and we tried to put it back together."

JODIE FOSTER - Cecil B DeMille award for lifetime achievement

Jodie Foster
Foster's first starring role was as an underage prostitute opposite Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver
"Trust me, 47 years in the film business is a long time. You just ask those Golden Globies, because you crazy kids, you've been around here forever... It is the most fun party of the year, and tonight I feel like the prom queen.
"Thank you. Looking at all those clips, you know, the hairdos and the freaky platform shoes, it's like a home-movie nightmare that just won't end, and all of these people sitting here at these tables, they're my family of sorts, you know. Fathers mostly. Executives, producers, the directors, my fellow actors out there. We've giggled through love scenes, we've punched and cried and spit and vomited and blown snot all over one another — and those are just the co-stars I liked.
"But, you know, more than anyone else I share my most special memories with members of the crew. Blood-shaking friendships, brothers and sisters. We made movies together, and you can't get more intimate than that.
"So while I'm here being all confessional, I guess I have a sudden urge to say something that I've never really been able to air in public. So, a declaration that I'm a little nervous about but maybe not quite as nervous as my publicist right now, huh Jennifer? But I'm just going to put it out there, right? Loud and proud, right? So I'm going to need your support on this.
"I am... single.
"Yes I am, I am single. No, I'm kidding — but I mean I'm not really kidding, but I'm kind of kidding. I mean, thank you for the enthusiasm. Can I get a wolf whistle or something?
"I hope that you're not disappointed that there won't be a big coming-out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the Stone Age. Those very quaint days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually, proudly to everyone who knew her, to everyone she actually met.
"But now, apparently, I'm told that every celebrity is expected to honour the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a prime-time reality show.
"And you guys might be surprised, but I am not Honey Boo Boo Child. No, I'm sorry, that's just not me. It never was and it never will be. But please don't cry because my reality show would be so boring. I would have to make out with Marion Cotillard or I'd have to spank Daniel Craig's bottom just to stay on the air. It's not bad work if you can get it, though.
"But seriously, if you had been a public figure from the time that you were a toddler, if you'd had to fight for a life that felt real and honest and normal against all odds, then maybe you too might value privacy above all else. Privacy. Some day, in the future, people will look back and remember how beautiful it once was.
"I have given everything up there from the time that I was three years old. That's reality show enough, don't you think?
Jodie Foster
Foster has won two previous Globes from seven nominations
"There are a few secrets to keeping your psyche intact over such a long career. The first: Love people and stay beside them. That table over there, 222, way out in Idaho, Paris, Stockholm, that one, next to the bathroom with all the unfamous faces, the very same faces for all these years. My acting agent, Joe Funicello — Joe, do you believe it, 38 years we've been working together? Even though he doesn't count the first eight.
"Matt Saver, Pat Kingsley, Jennifer Allen, Grant Niman and his uncle Jerry Borack, may he rest in peace. Lifers. My family and friends here tonight and at home, and of course, Mel Gibson. You know you save me too.
"There is no way I could ever stand here without acknowledging one of the deepest loves of my life, my heroic co-parent, my ex-partner in love but righteous soul sister in life, my confessor, ski buddy, consigliere, most beloved BFF of 20 years, Cydney Bernard. Thank you, Cyd.
"I am so proud of our modern family. Our amazing sons, Charlie and Kit, who are my reason to breathe and to evolve, my blood and soul. And boys, in case you didn't know it, this song, all of this, this song is for you.
"This brings me to the greatest influence of my life, my amazing mother, Evelyn. Mom, I know you're inside those blue eyes somewhere and that there are so many things that you won't understand tonight. But this is the only important one to take in: I love you, I love you, I love you. And I hope that if I say this three times, it will magically and perfectly enter into your soul, fill you with grace and the joy of knowing that you did good in this life. You're a great mom. Please take that with you when you're finally OK to go.
"You see, Charlie and Kit, sometimes mom, your mom loses it too. And I can't help but get moony, you know. This feels like the end of one era and the beginning of something else. Scary and exciting and now what?
"Well, I may never be up on this stage again, on any stage for that matter. Change, you gotta love it. I will continue to tell stories, to move people by being moved - the greatest job in the world. It's just that from now on, I may be holding a different talking stick. And maybe it won't be as sparkly, maybe it won't open on 3,000 screens, maybe it will be so quiet and delicate that only dogs can hear it whistle. But it will be my writing on the wall: Jodie Foster was here, I still am, and I want to be seen, to be understood deeply and to be not so very lonely.
"Thank you, all of you, for the company. Here's to the next 50 years."

BILL CLINTON - introducing Lincoln as a best film nominee

Bill Cinton
The former president was referred to by co-host Poehler as "Hillary Clinton's husband"
The former US president flew in to California just as the Golden Globes ceremony began. Although he was officially visiting the state for another event, regarding his charity work, he stopped by the Golden Globes to endorse Steven Spielberg's biopic of Abraham Lincoln.
He described the film's plot as: "A tough fight to push a bill through a bitterly divided House of Representatives.
"Winning it required the president to make a lot of unsavoury deals that had nothing to do with the big issue. I wouldn't know anything about that.
"President Lincoln's struggle to abolish slavery reminds us that enduring progress is forged in a cauldron of both principle and compromise. This brilliant film shows us how we did it, and gives us hope that we can do it again.
"In Lincoln, we see a man more interesting than the legend, and a far better guide for future presidents. Every hard-fought effort to protect our union has demanded the same combination of steely resolve and necessary compromises that Lincoln mastered to preserve the union and end slavery. We're all here tonight because he did."

JENNIFER LAWRENCE - receiving the best actress award

Jennifer Lawrence
Lawrence has also been nominated for an Oscar
As Lawrence took to the stage, she read the inscription on her trophy and said: "What does it say? 'I beat Meryl!'"
The comment garnered criticism on Twitter, from people who thought she was making a dig at fellow nominee Meryl Streep.
In fact, she was referencing the 1996 film First Wives Club, in which Bette Midler tells Goldie Hawn's character: "Once you were a terrific actress. You even got an Oscar to prove it... 'I beat Meryl.' That's what it says."
Lawrence's speech continued with praise for her Silver Linings Playbook director David O Russell and co-star Bradley Cooper.
"I am so honoured to be part of a film like this. David, thank you for believing in me and giving me a chance. There's a reason why so many actors have thanked you from this stage, you are simply the best.
"Bradley, you're incredible and you made me better every single day.
"Harvey [Weinstein, producer] thank you for killing whoever you had to kill to get me up here."

Jessica Alba Wears $5.8 Million Diamond Necklace at Golden Globes

Jessica Alba knocked it out of the park at the 70th Annual Golden Globes. The Machete Kills actress, 31, turned heads on the red carpet in Beverly Hills Jan. 13 wearing Oscar de la Renta's melon silk faille trumpet gown from the designer's pre-fall 2013 collection. "I just liked the color," Alba told Us Weekly. "I felt glamorous."

Carrying a Roger Vivier clutch, Alba added major glamour by donning a Mrs. Winston by Harry Winston diamond necklace valued at $5.8 million. The married mother of two completed her look with Harry Winston's platinum and round diamond stud earrings and a platinum and pear-shaped diamond cluster ring.

Alba joined Touch star Keifer Sutherland to present the award for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film; Kevin Costner won for his role in Hatfields & McCoys.

Jodie Foster: I'm Not Retiring, Coming Out Speech "Speaks for Itself"

Jodie Foster is not ready to walk out into the sunset, thank you very much. After delivering a powerful, news-making speech at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on Sunday Jan. 13 -- in which the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award winner acknowledged that she's gay and seemed to hint at retirement -- Foster, 50, clarified her statements to reporters in the Green Room at the Beverly Hilton.

"I could never stop acting. You'd have to drag me behind, like, a team of horses," the Silence of the Lambs star insisted. "No, I'm not retiring from acting. And, you know, I'd like to be directing tomorrow . . . I'm actually more into it than I have ever been." Foster, who has been acting since she was a toddler, explained that the point of her speech was "that people change. Change is important. And, you know, hopefully I'll be doing different things than I did when I was three years old and six years old and ten years old and 20 years old . . . My work is evolving."

As for the more personal aspects of the address, in which Foster mentioned her former female partner and explained she "came out a million years ago" in private? "The speech kind of speaks for itself. It's a big, long career, and it's not just a career; it's friendships and relationships . . . I feel like I am graduating from something . . . And it's a big moment, and I wanted to say, you know, what's most in my heart."

Foster, mom to sons Charlie and Kit, added that she wasn't worried about regretting her frank disclosure the morning after. "It's an expression of who I am and what I'm thinking and feeling." The Accused actress also raised a few eyebrows (as she has in the past) when she acknowledged her close friend, the ever-controversial, volatile Mel Gibson, in her speech. (Gibson, 57, looked on tearfully in the audience.)

"I know Mel Gibson extremely well, and he's somebody that I love and that I have worked with and that I respect, and it's not difficult to say that. You know, it's very easy to say that. My — the man that I know is a true and loyal friend, and considerate, loving," she said of Gibson. Over the summer, Foster also spoke up for her former Panic Room costar Kristen Stewart at the height of her cheating scandal. "I think it's important that when people are struggling, that you not run away from them if you love them. Kristen, I mean, I look at the room tonight, you know, Kristen Stewart and Claire Danes, Jennifer Lawrence, all these young women that I worked with who basically were child actors like I was a child actor, and then I feel very protective of them, because even though I think I have managed to get through the process relatively sanely, I had my scars, and I hope to be in some ways a member of their family that's out there protecting them."

Foster's biggest shock of all: That she's still working in Hollywood. "You know, from the time I was little, my mom prepared me for the fact that my career would be over by the time I was 18 . . . I am very surprised that I ended up doing the same job that I did from the time I was three!"

Golden Globes 2013: Us' Best-Dressed List Revealed!

The stars did what they were supposed to do last night, Jan. 13, at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills: They sparkled bright—literally, for some of them.

There were a few head-scratchers, for sure. Halle Berry in a diaphanous, patterned, one-shouldered number with a thigh-revealing slit, Lucy Liu in a big floral ballgown, and Rachel Weisz in a black dress with polkadot see-through skirt were a few of the actresses whose getups gave us pause. But the bulk of the looks were red carpet-worthy and just stunning. The hard part: Whittling down the list to just 15.

Among the standouts? Golden Globe winners Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables) and Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook), and Jennifer Garner, whose husband Ben Affleck (Argo) won for Best Director. Tell Us: Did your favorite gowns make the list?

Golden Globes 2013's Most Awkward Moments: Salma Hayek Flubs, Taylor Swift Mocked and More!

No night is complete without a few party fouls, and Hollywood's "party of the year" was no exception. This year's Golden Globes in Beverly Hills played host to a number of memorable speeches, jaw-dropping gowns, and -- most importantly -- a good dose of awkwardness.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler kicked off the night with a few strategic zingers at everyone from James Franco to James Cameron, but the Saturday Night Live pals really just got the ball rolling. The remainder of the star-studded evening unfolded with its own generous amount of gaffes, laughs and brow-furrowing moments.

Recap the most awkward moments from the 2013 Golden Globes below.

1. Taylor Swift gets dissed: About halfway through the show, Fey and Poehler took a moment to warn their Hollywood colleagues to keep Glenn Close away from the alcohol -- and country darling Swift away from Michael J. Fox's son Sam, Mr. Golden Globes for the evening.

"You know what, Taylor Swift? Stay away from Michael J. Fox's son!" Fey joked as the audience tittered nervously. Swift, 23, recently made headlines after parting ways with British beau Harry Styles. The singer smiled demurely.

Fey tried to save the situation. "She needs some me time to learn about herself," she explained.

2. Jodie Foster references Honey Boo Boo in her coming out speech: After teasing the audience by joking about being single, Foster made a snide comment about the state of celebrity today, referencing one of pop culture's most recent stars: Honey Boo Boo.

"I did my coming out a thousand years ago back in the stone age, in those quaint days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family," she began. "Now I'm told every celebrity is expected [to share] the details of their private life with a reality show. But I'm not Honey Boo Boo!"

3. Paul Rudd and Salma Hayek's teleprompter issues: So that's what happens when they go off-script! Rudd and Hayek were the unfortunate victims of technological difficulties Sunday night when their teleprompter reportedly stopped working just as they were about to present the award for Best TV Drama. A few awkward moments passed before Rudd tried to fill the silence.

"Hello," the This Is 40 star attempted. "How's everybody doing? Good? All right, great." Hayek tried to pick up the pieces with, "Okay, something about the best, uh…" before the nominees' clips began to roll on-screen, complete with pre-recorded voiceover.

Rudd was able to interject a quick "and the winner is…" before handing the prize over to Homeland.

4. HFPA president hits on Bradley Cooper: Nothing says you've made it in Hollywood quite like getting a wink and a smile from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association president. During her address to the audience Sunday night, Dr. Aida Takla-O'Reilly tried to turn the usually dry portion of the ceremony into an entertaining jab at pop culture.

Takla-O'Reilly concluded her speech with "three words to Bradley Cooper": "Call Me Maybe." A startled Cooper tried to maintain his composure after being called out by the kindly president.

5. Aziz Ansari jokes about weed: It's natural to be nervous presenting an award at the Golden Globes, but Ansari took his duties a bit too seriously with his Downton Abbey gag. The Parks and Recreation actor presented an award with Arrested Development's Jason Bateman and pretended to be high the entire time.

"The cast of Downton Abbey has some great week backstage!" he declared as the crowd laughed nervously. "Michelle Dockery, I hope you have some more of those tasty cookies -- or biscuits, as you call them."

Bateman pretended to bat Ansari away as they announced the nominees, but the joke left the audience more dazed and confused than laughing uproariously.

6. Sacha Baron Cohen makes off-color joke about Anne Hathaway: The king of crude comments made his way on-stage to present the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film Sunday, but not before using the platform to get in a few jabs about the cast of Les Miserables.

"Russell Crowe had four months of singing lessons, that was money well spent," he quipped after joking about Hugh "Jackson" and Helena Bonham Carter. But he saved his biggest zing for Hathaway as he closed out his routine.

"Enough of me pulling back the curtains of Hollywood -- and I'm not referring to Anne Hathaway's up-skirt shot," he chuckled. Hathaway responded with a few giggles and a tight smile in the audience.

Two days after the Presidential Inaugural Committee announced that Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, and James Taylor would perform at the official ceremony on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., several other celebs have been added to the weekend's star-studded lineup.

The committee announced Friday, Jan. 11, that Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley, Katy Perry, John Legend, fun, Stevie Wonder, and Usher would be among those on hand at the Kids' Inaugural Concert on Saturday, Jan. 19, and at the official Inaugural balls on Monday, Jan. 21. Marc Anthony, Nick Cannon, Smokey Robinson, and members of the cast of Glee are also expected to make appearances.

"We are honored and excited to have such a diverse, talented group of musical guests joining Americans from across the country to celebrate the 57th Inauguration," Presidential Inaugural Committee CEO Steve Kerrigan said in a statement.

"Vice President [Joe] Biden and I are honored to have these wonderfully talented musical artists perform at the Inaugural ceremony," Obama, 51, said in a statement after the committee announced Beyonce, Clarkson, and Taylor's participation. "Their music is often at the heart of the American story and speaks to folks across the country."

The Kids' Inaugural Concert on Jan. 19 carries on a tradition started by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden in 2009 that builds on initiatives to support military families. Monday's official balls also honor servicemen and women; the Commander-in-Chief's Ball will include both active duty and reserve military, as well as Medal of Honor recipients and wounded warriors.

Selena Gomez Looks Happy, Flashes Cleavage After Justin Bieber Breakup

Eat your heart out, Justin Bieber.

In her first post-split appearance, Selena Gomez showed her ex what he's missing by wearing a cleavage-baring, turquoise Alberta Ferretti dress in L.A. Jan. 10.

At the Vogue event in the designer's honor, an upbeat Gomez chatted with Chelsea Lately host Chelsea Handler, 37. The Spring Breakers star has yet to publicly comment on her split with Bieber, 18.

The exes were first linked in November 2010 after a "cuddly" IHOP date, though they denied dating until the spring of 2011. The Wizards of Waverly Place actress and the "As Long as You Love Me" singer called it quits in November 2012.

"Selena broke up with Justin about a week ago. It's been a really challenging experience over the last year because of their crazy schedules," an insider told Us Weekly at the time. "Selena definitely had some major trust issues with Justin."

The pair soon reconnected and were spotted kissing and holding hands at an American Music Awards afterparty weeks later. While vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for a New Year's trip, "They had another huge fight, and Selena won't forgive him," a source reveals in the Jan. 21 issue of Us Weekly (out now). "Selena is done with him."

In the wake of their split, Bieber was photographed smoking what appears to be marijuana on Jan. 2, just one day after a paparazzo was killed chasing his Ferrari. (Bieber was not in the vehicle at the time.)

Bieber is now being accused of assaulting Moshe Benabou, an ex-member of the Israeli army who worked as his bodyguard from March 2011 to October 2012. Benabou is seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery, in addition to $420,000 in unpaid overtime.

A source close to Bieber, however, insists the "whole thing is baseless and meritless. Justin never hit him and couldn't! He is so much smaller. This whole thing is a lie."

The 30-year-old actress, who was nominated for Best Actress in an Action Movie for Hawyire, walked down the red carpet with Man of Steel's leading man, Henry Cavill, 29. Carano (in Roland Mouret) and Cavill (in Tom Ford) stayed by each other's side throughout the evening.

According to Just Jared, the two have been spotted together multiple times within the past few months. E! News reports the former MMA fighter and the Immortals actor began dating in September 2012.

Cavill was previously engaged to champion show jumper Ellen Whitaker; they secretly split in the spring of 2012.

"There was no fallout,"  a source told Us at the time. "They just both agreed it wasn't working."

Carano is rumored to be making a surprise appearance as Wonder Woman in Cavill's new film, Man of Steel. The movie hits theaters on June 14, 2013.
